Lima, Oct. 21. Aranwa Chain Hotel Resort & Spa (Aranwa), a company of Peru’s San Pablo Group, today announced the opening of Cusco Aranwa Boutique Hotel, located in the city of Cusco, Peru. The new five star hotel was opened after two years of restoration of a sixteenth-century colonial house and an investment of seven million dollars," said Aranwa’s deputy general manager Gabriel Alvarez, livinginperu.com reported.
The sixteenth century colonial building that houses the hotel was declared a National Historic Landmark, and first belonged to Alonso Pérez de Villarejo, Dean of the Cusco Cathedral. The baroque style building façade is one of the best preserved in the city and depicts Corinthian columns as well as decorative features found only on the fronts of churches and convents. The new hotel has 43 rooms and suites with oxygen control, bathrooms with Jacuzzi, a spa with European and Inca treatments, and a color therapy area. San Pablo Group has 19 years in Peru and owns Hospitales San Pablo, the largest private health operator in the country, as well as the hotel chain Aranwa Hotel Resort & Spa. Source: andina.pe
