More than 10,000 visitors on Sunday will enjoy the 46th International Grape Harvest Festival closing parade in Ica, some 300 km south of Lima, which includes the participation of 30 floats and group of folk dances. Chairman of the Float Parade Contest Commission of Ica Jacinto Roque indicated that the floats belong to public and private institutions. This carnival will begin at 18.00 (23.00 GMT) and go through Los Maestros, Matías and Manzanilla avenues, the main square, and Ayacucho and Cutervo streets. Finally, it will arrive to the fairground of Ica. The closing ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday at 10.00 (15.00 GMT) at the provincial municipality headquarters, where the queens will be given their gifts.
